  1. LED brightness

  2. LED pixel module

   The LEDs are arranged in a matrix or pen segments and are pre-made into standard size modules. Commonly used indoor display screens are 8*8 pixel module, 8-character 7-segment digital module. The outdoor display screen pixel module has specifications such as 4*4, 8*8, 8*16 pixels. The pixel module used in outdoor display screens is also called a collective tube bundle module because each pixel is composed of more than two LED tube bundles.

  3. Pixel and pixel diameter

   Each LED light-emitting unit (dot) that can be individually controlled in the LED display is called a pixel (or pixel). Pixel diameter ∮ refers to the diameter of each pixel, in millimeters.

   For indoor display screens, generally one is a single LED with a circular shape. Commonly used indoor display screen pixel diameter calibrations are ∮3.0, ∮3.75, ∮5.0, ∮8.0, etc., of which ∮3.75 and ∮5.0 are the most common.

  4, dot pitch, pixel density and information capacity

   The center distance or dot pitch (Dot Pitch) of the two pixels of the LED display screen; the number of pixels in a unit area is called pixel density; the amount of display content in a unit area is called information capacity. The essence of these three is to describe the same concept: the dot pitch reflects the pixel density from the distance between two pixels, the dot pitch and pixel density are the physical attributes of the display screen; the information capacity is the information carrying capacity of the pixel density The unit of quantity.

  The smaller the dot pitch, the higher the pixel density, the more information capacity, and the closer the distance suitable for viewing.

  The larger the dot pitch, the lower the pixel density, the less the information capacity, and the longer the distance suitable for viewing.

   5. Resolution

   The number of rows and columns of LED display pixels is called the resolution of the LED display. Resolution is the total number of pixels of the display screen, which determines the information capacity of a display screen.

  6, LED display (LED Panel)

  Assemble and arrange the LED pixel modules into a matrix according to actual needs, with dedicated display drive circuits, DC stabilized power supplies, software, frames and exterior decorations to form an LED display.

  7. grayscale

  Grayscale refers to the degree of light-darkness changes of pixels, and the grayscale of a primary color generally has 8 to 1024 levels. For example, if the gray scale of each primary color is 256 levels, for a dual primary color screen, the display color is 256×256=64K colors, which is also called a 256-color display screen.

  8. dual primary colors

   Nowadays, most color LED display screens are dual-primary color screens, that is, each pixel has two LED dies: one is a red light die and the other is a green light die. The pixel is red when the red light die is bright, the pixel is green when the green light die is bright, and the pixel is yellow when the red and green die are on at the same time. Among them, red and green are called primary colors.

   9. full color

  Red and green double primary colors plus blue primary colors, the three primary colors constitute a full color. Since the technology for forming a full-color blue tube and a pure green tube core is now mature, the market basically uses full-color.
